During our recent Easter getaway, we stayed at the Greenstar Hotel Jyväskylä, and it truly was a delightful experience for our family. The hotel embraces an eco-friendly approach, which resonated deeply with my marine conservation background, showcasing Nordic Ecolabel certification for many of its facilities. The clean and spacious room catered well to our family of four, as my toddler appreciated the array of toys and books available, ensuring a joyful stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast, featuring locally sourced, organic products; fresh juices and hot coffee complemented our healthy start to the day. I also loved the fact that we could use the kitchenette and shared facilities to heat up food and grab a midnight snack-ideal for our little ones. What made our experience exceptional were the friendly staff, who were always willing to assist, and the serene atmosphere that provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. As someone who often travels with my family, I especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities for kids and the proximity to nature, which made it feel like a home away from home. I'll definitely be back!
